ACTIVITIES

Learning, Teaching, Training Activities:

1st Pilot lecture on “Introduction to the Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Devices” (Invited teachers at higher education Intensive Study Programmes – Experts from non-HEI partners that will also perform teaching).
1st Pilot lecture on “Introduction to the Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Devices” (Intensive programs – Students and accompanying teaching staff from HEI partners).

This activities concerns a comprehensive set of pilot lectures for the course “Introduction to the Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Devices” that will be developed in the context of O2 Academic Curriculum on Smart Energy Management Systems. In particular, during this activity, selected chapters from the course will be tested for their efficiency and soundness in 5 lectures that will be performed to student volunteers by the academic staff of UOWM. UOWM has adequate experience on courses in the ICT domain, whilst the complementary experience of the academic staff of IUH and UCY will ensure the smooth conclusion of this activity. This activity aims to provide a first feedback regarding the developed curriculum, the applied methodology and if it addresses the educational needs of the students. A set of questionnaires will be distributed to students in order to evaluate their experience during the courses.

Events: C1: SP-HE-IST & C2: SP-HE-IPL
